Cancer Rehabilitation

With a growing population of cancer survivors, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists have a responsibility within our respective professions and to the public to be able to implement standardised care and evidence-based treatment to the patient population.

Our Principal Physiotherapist Amanda McDonald is a certified PINC Oncology Physiotherapist. Amanda has undergone extensive training through PINC and STEEL International and can provide safe and effective care for anyone affected by any type of cancer.

Each patient is assessed individually for physical impairments and the effects of their treatment. The sessions can include a combination of services including: Manual physiotherapy, scar management, graduated resistance training, clinical pilates, fatigue management, and exercise prescription.

The PINC and STEEL Cancer Rehabilitation Program is dedicated to improving the strength, quality of life and sense of wellbeing of men and women diagnosed with cancer. Find PINC resources here.
